My husband and I had some reservations about hiring a professional to photograph our kids. We just weren’t sure much would come of it. With a 22 month old and a 3 month old, the odds of a successful photo shoot didn’t seem to be in our favor. But we felt we should give it a try, hired Todd and hoped for the best.

We were relieved when Todd arrived and suggested we let our 22 month old spend the afternoon doing what he liked best. He happily headed to the park with Todd in hot pursuit. Later, our 3 month old had a ball making eyes at Todd and his camera from our living room floor. And out of this pleasant afternoon came the most extraordinary photos I’ve ever seen of our children. Despite having just met our kids, Todd managed to capture all their quirky little looks and gestures that define them in our mind’s eye. His incredible talent for observation, artistry, and – what anyone working with kids needs in spades – patience, combined to make each of his shots unique and unusual. But at the same time, his photos also managed to reflect the very essence of our kids. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Todd’s easy-going personality makes him a pleasure to work with. Ordering additional prints couldn’t have been easier and his custom framing is beautiful. We are so grateful to him for preserving the moments we feared time might otherwise erase and look forward to having him document our children as they grow and change in the years to come.
